I am an eligible contestant and meet the eligibility requirements as stated in Local Rule #1 on Page 2 of the 2022 Exhibitor's Handbook. If correspondence concerning eligibility is not answered & in the hands of this Association by date and time specified in Exhibitor's Handbook, Local Rule #1, the contestant will be disqualified. The same rules apply to any trainer or jockey riding for an exhibitor. I affirm that any horse entered is owned by a person eligible to be a contestant.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT*

The exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the San Benito County Saddle Horse Association, the County of San Benito, 33rd District Agricultural Association and the State of California from and against any liability, claim, loss or expense ( including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of any injury or damage which is caused by, arises from or is any way connected with participation in this program or event, excepting only that caused by the sole negligence of the San Benito County Saddle Horse Association. The Association management shall not be responsible for accidents or losses that may occur to any of the exhibitors or exhibits at the show. The exhibitor (or parent or guardian of a minor) is responsible for any injury or damage resulting from the exhibitor's participation in the program or event. This includes any injury to others or to the exhibitor or to the exhibitor's property.
